I can help you get the band score you need in the IELTS Academic exam by providing exam strategies, proofreading your writing tasks, helping you with vocabulary and grammar, offering mock speaking tests and providing exam-style reading and listening texts. I use authentic materials, official exam materials and certified course books from Cambridge English, Oxford University Press and the British Council.

I will create a bespoke study plan that fits your needs, your English level and your timescale. We can work on all the skills tested in the IELTS exam or only those you feel need a little more work.

Do you feel overwhelmed preparing for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam?

I take a step-by-step approach to prepare students in every area of the exam, from mastering complex grammatical structures like inverted conditionals to employing the correct intonation when asking questions during the speaking exam.

I exclusively use official materials developed by Cambridge English and my students are not required to purchase any additional resources - everything is provided.

I supplement these official course materials with real-life examples of English at C1 level, for example extracts from podcasts, TV shows, newspaper columns etc. This not only adds variety but also allows you to engage with the kind of unseen material you will come across in the Listening and Reading and Use of English papers.
