About Me

Like many of you, as a high school student I spent many an hour in the library with the goal of eventually being accepted into a top British university. To my delight I was offered a place at the University of Sheffield, and I graduated with a First Class BA in French and Hispanic Studies in 2020.

I have taught English as a Foreign Language (ESL) for four years, full-time since September 2020. During this time I have taught students aged 6 to 60+, of all abilities and from countries all around the world. I have discovered how much I enjoy working with high school students, who are so often dedicated learners who demonstrate real ambition and a desire to improve.

I am frequently humbled by the English proficiency of the young people I work with, and it is my great pleasure to help my students employ their existing knowledge to succeed in the English language exams they must pass in order to continue on their academic path. The UK boasts some of the best universities in the world, and English need not be a barrier to top-quality further education.
